Payal Shah, PA-C received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Florida. She then proceeded to attend Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL and completed her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. While on rotations, she realized she wanted to practice Emergency Medicine and moved to Illinois after she graduated to work as an ER PA-C at a level II trauma center for over 2 years. She has also worked as a locums provider at other emergency departments. She has now accepted a position to move to DC to work as a physician assistant at Medstar Washington Hospital Center’s Emergency Department.
